Project Summary

Northeast Contracting Company (NECC) partnered with Meridian Construction Co., Inc. to deliver a comprehensive, two-year phased roof replacement project for Fairfax County Public Schools. With the school remaining open and fully operational throughout construction, NECC’s team successfully balanced precision workmanship, strict safety measures, and an on-time schedule to ensure zero disruption to daily school activities.

Our scope of work encompassed the complete roofing package, including installation of the metal roof system, exterior wall and soffit panels, 4-ply built-up roofing with gravel ballast and insulation, roof drain maintenance markers, single-ply TPO roofing and insulation, flashing and sheet metal, roof hatches, sealants, tubular skylights, and tubular daylighting devices. NECC also fabricated and installed metal coping, showcasing our ability to provide high-quality, tailored solutions.

By coordinating closely with the general contractor and school officials, NECC demonstrated its commitment to safety, reliability, and craftsmanship.
