Project Summary

Northeast Contracting Company (NECC) partnered with Construction SystemsGroup, Inc. and Columbia Real Estate Management to deliver a comprehensive roof recovery project designed to enhance performance, reliability, and long-term protection forthe property at 13865 Sunrise Valley Drive. This occupied commercial facility required careful coordination among all stakeholders to ensure that work progressed smoothly withminimal impact to daily building operations.

The project encompassed multiple roof sections, as well as the penthouse and cooling tower areas, each requiring targeted restoration to address aging components andimprove overall rooftop integrity. NECC replaced more than 2,000 square feet of insulation, installed new precast concrete walkway pavers to support safe rooftop access, and added tons of river-worn stone ballast to strengthen surface protection. Additional work included the selective replacement of deteriorated wood blocking at the penthouse gutter edge, ensuring proper water management and long-term performance.

To safeguard building systems and maintain operational continuity, NECC incorporated an electrical and mechanical contingency to support safe disconnection and reconnection of rooftop equipment as needed. Through disciplined coordination, preciseexecution, and a commitment to quality, NECC delivered a durable and dependable roofing solution tailored to the property’s long-term asset protection needs.
